As you may have read below Pinball Magazine Batch 8 shipped February 15th. All orders that came in after that, and they keep coming in on a daily basis 🙂 , will ship in Batch 9. However, as we are working on finishing up Pinball Magazine Issue 2, we did not pick a date to ship Batch 9. First of all a minimum number of orders is required and that has not been met yet. So it might make sense to ship Batch 9 together with the first shipment of Issue 2, which is hopefully min-April. If enough orders do come in prior to Issue 2 going to print Batch 9 may ship earlier. If you have any questions about ordering Issue 1, please contact us via the Contact-page.
Pinball Magazine No.2 will go on pre-sale as soon as the number of pages is known. If you have subscribed to the newsletter you will be informed about the start of the pre-sale.
Update April 13th: Where still collecting orders for Batch 9. Batch 9 is expect to ship out before the end of April. Issue 2 will be printed in May.

In case you’re not familiar yet with Pinball Magazine: Pinball Magazine Issue 1 was launched in August 2012. The goal was to produce a high quality, glossy, magazine, which would largely focus on one specific topic.
Pinball Magazine Issue 1 turned out to be more like a book than a magazine, with 112 full color pages printed on high quality paper. The main interview, with pinball industry veteran Roger Sharpe, ran to over 56 pages. Other features included articles on the Pacific Pinball Museum, IFPA, online community Pinside.com and much more. From an advertising point of view it was good to see all ads in Issue 1 were pinball related. Issue 1 sold for $15 (plus postal costs). Issue 2 is likely to have more pages, which may result in a higher sale price and postal costs.
As you can read on the feedback page, Pinball Magazine Issue 1 received outstandingly positive feedback. It was seen not just a high quality magazine about pinball, but rather as a highly collectable piece of pinball history that belongs on the bookshelf next to other quality pinball books.

Due to popular demand we will be shipping out an extra batch of Pinball Magazine No. 1: The Roger Sharpe Special. These are still brand new copies from the original first print (a reprint is likely soon). This batch (No. 8) is likely to ship the first or second week of february 2013, so if you’re interested: your copy can still be in there. For content details take a look in the webshop.
Update: Slightly delayed Batch 8 shipped out Friday February 15th.
Continuing our coverage from EAG: Day 2 saw Andrew Heighway and Dave Sanders of Heighway Pinball come in for a brief visit in the late afternoon. Apparently just prior to the show some technical difficulty made appearing at the show with a game not possible. Andrew then reasoned it would be better to make the right first impression, than an impression with just half a product, so HeighWay Pinball decided to just make a quick stop and head back the same night in order to continue to work on their game. There should however be some sort of presentation in London next month.
On the showfloor there was not that much news to report. The pinball games of both Jersey Jack and Stern got a lot of attention. On the morning of day 3 Pinball magazine did some interviews that may appear in Issue 2. Parts of these are likely to be published online prior to the appearance of the magazine.
That’s all for now.
