Feedback on PM05

  • I’ve been reading the issue ALL DAY yesterday and again today – and still have a lot of Wayne’s interview to go. All I can say is this is the most interesting and treasured “book” of any in my collection. That article by Gordo was SO PACKED with incredible information that I had never heard before – PURE GOLD!!! And although I had heard bits and pieces of Wayne’s history, I’ve never seen this much detail. It’s absolutely fascinating. There is so much information that doesn’t even directly relate to Wayne – he’s just a fountain of information about the early days of the industry. Thank you SO SO MUCH for doing this issue. – Randy Peck
  • Volume 5 arrived at my home in England last week. I was very pleased with it and eagerly anticipate further volumes – hopefully on Williams – Peter Dawson
  • My copy (and the beautiful post cards) arrived a couple of days ago. I just flipped through it and it looks great, but I haven’t had time to sit down and read it. I shall do so this weekend. Thanks for your efforts and research. I know there is a lot that goes into this and it is a niche market at that, so I really do appreciate the work involved. – Jim Walser
  • Received my issue with the bonus cards last week. It’s a masterpiece and a work of art. Hands-down the best printed Pinball media out there. Excellent work. – Jason Rufer

  • I’m just writing to let you know how much I am enjoying the latest PM issue! I am lovingly doling out smallish portions of the Neyens interview so that I can make the stories and memories last a bit longer. It’s just a real treat to be able to hear first-hand how the great designer went about his craft. And you are asking such GREAT questions. I also like the sidebars you’ve added – such as Wayne’s daughter reminiscing about a certain idea or memory that he referred to. Just great stuff. You’re asking EXACTLY the kinds of questions that I would be asking him myself — and I can’t think of a higher compliment to give you. Thank you for the obvious time and effort (and the PHOTOS!) you put into presenting this master interview for the ages. Generations to come will refer back to this interview for the final word on designing pinball in its golden era. Count me IMPRESSED! – Lippy
